  1. I want to get back to the last iPhone IOS version that supports Windows XP – which I believe to be 10.0.1. My XP PC will not recognize the iPhone to restore the older ipsw file and my Windows 7 PC will recognize the iPhone, allows me to select the older .ipsw file, but fails during the restore process with a code 3194. To restore the ispw for 10.0 or 10.0.1 to the iPhone, can I do this on the Windows XP system (iTunes with the phone in DFU mode) or the Windows 7 system (iTunes with the phone in DFU mode)? Thanks.

  2. I have 10.1 and it is contiueing telling me I have an updat. I go to update and it tells me I have the latest software. Over and over this is so frusrating

  3. I PERSONALLY THINKING THAT IOS 10.1 IS NOT SUITABLE FOR IPHONE 5. IF YOU’VE OLDER DEVICES SUCH AS IPHONE 5 OR IPOD TOUCH 6G, YOU SHOULD DOWNGRADE IOS 10.1 TO IOS 10.0 IMMEDIATELY.
    THANKS

  4. If you’re planning to downgrade iOS 10.1, you should consider backup which is missing in above steps. I want to edit above post and add Backup iOS 10.1 before downgrade 10.1 to avoid iTunes errors. I’ve seen many users stuck during process.

  5. as far as iOS 10.1 is in beta stage, I won’t use it for long. I rather prefer to stay on iOS 10.0.3 or iOS 10.0.2 before Apple publishes iOS 10.1 to public stable version.
