I’m not having much luck with this either. I have an iPhone 4S and tried to upgrade to the latest software, only to be stuck in this recovery mode (symbol of iTunes with the white connection cord showing on the front). I have connected to computer, downloaded this software but it keeps going back to the same symbol.

Hello I tried this today on my ipad 3 and didnt work. The apple logo just keeps reappearing.

  You need to reconnect the iPhone to computer and launch the iPhone Data Recovery software.
  1. click that “Restart” to restart your device.
  2. If above solution fails to solve the problem, please hold “Power” and “Home” buttons at the same time to restart the device to normal.
  3. Also, could you please tell me how did your iPad 3 get in the recovery mode?
