    mine doesn’t boot up with evaders logo. but have the evasion icon. nothing happens when pressed. just opens up a blank page that seems to be evasions home screen…

    i just jailbreak my iPad 2 version 8.1, but after that, when i put apps from app addict, the apps cannot be open. the icon turn into dark, and when i click it it will be ‘installing..” any apps that i put in my device always like that. this is my first time jailbreak my iPad version 8.1 with evasion. please solve my problem. thank you.

    How to put iPhone in recovery mode?

      1.just press n hold in home button & on/off switch until apple logo disappear, in the same time release the home + on/off.
      2.than you go to Recovery Mode, make sure in the 1st step unplug your iPhone to PC, than press n hold home button for 5 second then plug your iPhone to your PC,
      3. recovery logo will show up an iTunes will detect n restore your iPhone..!!

    Jailbreak worked beautifully! Quick and simple. Immediately went to cydia for Winterboard and some themes. However, Winterboard won’t ‘Hide’ (even after rebooting) and my old Star Trek theme I had previously installs but doesn’t appear. Possibly not iOS 9 compatible?

      right i can comfirm this JB is working on iphone 5s 7.04… what i done…
      updated from 6.1.3 to 8.1 via itunes, then killed anything to do with itunes on pc, ran evasion as admin,plugged phone in and hit jailbreak, left the iPhone to do its thing, u will know when its done. nice work evasi0n 8.1 ! merry crimbo

        It’s probably best to avoid this for now, the jailbreak works fine (tested it on an old 4S which I have knocking around the house, running 8.1)…but hardly any jailbreak apps/tweaks work with iOS 9 which kinda renders the jailbreak pointless at the moment.. I’d probably give it a couple of weeks
