iPad Pro Release Date, Features, Rumors And Speculations

Within past couple of months, Apple has released iPad Air, Mini and Mini 2. It has pushed a rumor in the industry that Apple would release iPad Pro or iPad Hybrid rather than iPad 5.

I would not be surprise, if Apple would push iPad Pro in the market with 12.9″ large screen display. Because, there are many clues that point me to think about it. First the Korean Times reported that Apple is planing for large display iPad. And then, Forbes also confirmed the chances of iPad Pro rather than 5th Generation.

Its clear that the next iPad would have large screen up to 13″ display. Most probably, it would be 12.9″. Now it would be interesting to see, if it would be 12.9″ OLED display or just LCD.

If you observe the above image, iPad Pro (12.9″) clearly stand out from Macbook Air (13″). It would be a great to see clear and large resolution that beats all former iPads including iPad Air, Mini 2.

The Korean report clearly stats that iPad Pro would come in 2015 in Q1 or Q2. But, the recent The Wall Street Journal‘s report suggests that currently Apple has just been testing prototypes and other equipment and it may possible that iPad Pro may never touch the market.

    I think Apple will continue the trend with iPad 5. How can Apple break it’s own trend after all. iPad 5 would be release with more powerful features and lower price. I don’t think about Pro. Its just a rumor, that’s it.
    Yeah, we can see iPhone Mini in 2015 and this is sure. However, at the moment, there is neither any rumor nor news about iPhone Mini, but I’m sure about it.

    The next could be iPad Maxi, if it is not Pro or Hybrid
    Pro is something that catch the attention and Apple also loves Pro just like MacBook Pro and other Pro products.

    I think iPad Pro may come with iOS 8.1.1.2 next year. Apple had released new iPhone 5S with iOS 8.1.1.2

      You are right about the name. It’s all Pro. Well, there is always next year with the fingerprint security added, another faster processor and a brighter display for several hundred bucks. I will stick with my iPad Air.

        I am NOT the most discerning authority on Apple by any means, although I have purchased the iPad Air, iPad Mini, and the next would be iPad Pro. I also have a iPad mini 1, but I think I will wait until I see MORE for me to spend another $600.

    It seems that Apple had 2 put SOMETHING out b4 that touchscreen computer I’m waiting on. I’m legally blind & can only use a tablet. So… Where’s the tablet with conventional computer capability? Should I give up on Apple & settle 4 the Microsoft tablet/keyboard combo? Why is it taking people SOO long 2 get used 2 the tablet format rather than iPad Pro?!

    I’m disappointed that it doesn’t do more… It’s still nothing more than a jumbo iPad. :( And now it fits the same profile as an iPad Pro too! #badapple
