Weekend of the last month was quite disappointing for Cydia users. Apple released iOS 8.1.3 for iPad Mini, iPad Air, iPhone and iPod Touch with bug fix, battery issues and security related updates that actually killed vulnerabilities and exploits that were used in TaiG and PP Jailbreak.
The TaiG iOS 8.1.3 Jailbreak and PPJailbreak iOS 8.1.3 success was depended on these exploits which were patched by Apple with the new update.

And, this is regular practice for Apple to patch vulnerabilities and exploits to make their operating system better and secure. That’s nothing wrong from their side, but for jailbreak users, its a big disappointment that they wouldn’t able to jailbreak 8.1.3 anymore.
iOS 8.1.3 update killed PanGu8 exploits also and one PPJailbreak vulnerability. We can say that there isn’t any remaining exploits available to jailbreak iOS 8.1.3 now.
Apple has smartly credited TaiG, PanGu8 and PPJailbreak for their vulnerabilities and exploits in iOS 8.1.3 release notes.
The good news is, TaiG, PPJailbreak teams have said that they would never stop to discover new exploits and vulnerabilities to jailbreak iOS 10.2 and new updates.
It would be really interesting to see how and when they would be able to jailbreak 8.1.3 in upcoming days…
