1 CineXPlayer HD: It is one of the best iPad video player apps. AC3 codec is the biggest issue of the video player apps that can’t be played with quality. CineXPlayer HD has great support and ability to play AC3 codec too. None of the other video player apps can compare in this with CineXPlayer HD. Its available on app store at $3.99. Its compatible for iPad Air, iPad Mini and iPhone.

3 VMPlayer Lite: I personally have been using VMPlayer Lite version for free on my iPad Air since couple of months as it can play flash videos as well. The quality is great and there isn’t any issues with other codecs too.

AVPlayer HD and GPlayer are the other alternatives for above video players for iPad Air, iPad Mini. These are the best out of best video player apps out there on app store and you can’t find out better than these.

I used Cinexplayer before but some some video files cannot be read, sometimes it support video only no audio, try Dragon video player, it can play any video format, rmvb, flv, mpeg, mkv, etc…..

Is there any player able to play an external audio track?

I was hoping for MXPlayer with equal filenames for the video and the track, but that didn’t work on my Cyanogen Xperia Z tablet (mkv + ac3).

Hi there. does anyone know if there is a media player for android (Samsung galaxy note) that lets you shift the audio track forwards or backwards to sync it with the video track. I use VLC on my laptop and it lets me do this but VLC for android doesn’t seem to have this function and it’s realy anoying trying to watch a movie that out of sync, like watching those old kung fu movies that have been dubbed to English. Any help would be much apreciated.

For HTC One users, be warned that after the 4.3 Jelly Bean update, MXPlayer has problems with HW+ video decoding, resulting in app crashes and glitches in reproduction.

BS player had a similar problem, but it’s now fixed after an update.

But, I wanna best video player apps for iPad Air and iPhone iOS 8 jailbreak and without jailbreak compatible version

We use VLC mostly in the office, BSPlayer looks promising though. Il check it outWe recently released DuoVid on Android and iOS, which plays two videos side by side from your library, youtube or online stream side by side!

You can use these to your iPad Mini 2
Oh yeah, it works on iPhone 5S too on iOS 8

i went with Mx Player a few months ago and almost immediately went for the pro version. i don’t remember the cost but i don’t think it was $7, (just checked, its $5.70). Its only sorta worth going pro but if you’re watching videos from your gallery a lot, i recommend it since the ads are huge and show up between videos. Now its so ingrained that i forget its not the default android player..

These are what I got from Best iPad Video Player Apps…

Do you wanna best video player apps for iPad Mini 2?

I’m surprised Archos Video player isn’t even mentioned here. Looks great, works great, and supports a variety of file types. But the best feature of all that no other video player I’ve found has is fantastic media sharing. It can stream local content from shared folders on Windows computers (not sure about Mac), and can connect to media servers like Plex or Serviio. And even better yet, it you are streaming content through one of those methods and you happen upon an unsupported file type, you can have a different video player (Like BSPlayer) do the heavy lifting.

I hope it is one of the best iPad video player apps, isn’t it?

Great info! The only suggestion I have is if you could show the names of the apps. Sometimes it is a little difficult to know the spelling of the app you are showing…but again, great info…keep up the good work!
