In running generation, MyWi iOS 10 is available for free for iPad air, iPad mini, iPhone for iOS 9.
So, no need to try free WiFi apps with less feature.

  Reflow the WiFi chip…
  Works every time :/
  Also some chips on older devices had an expiration date that was put into effect it seems with update :/
  Either way, a reflow works, or even for a few min or so using a hairdryer down headphone jack (For 4S, wont work same on others)

    I’ve seen a coworker experience this on the iPhone 4S but she was on iOS 6. I’m guessing this is a hardware issue and not specific to the iOS. Putting it in the freezer for a little while seemed to make it work again for short time.

    I’ve had an issue with WiFi on my iPad 3 ever since I updated to iOS 6 GM and it still has never been fixed. It worked perfectly on every iOS version before that, including all iOS 6 betas. I’ve restored, reset network settings, tried other fixes people suggested and nothing works.
    My iPad is damn near useless as it doesn’t get any WiFi signal in any part of my house that isn’t right in front of the router.
