Nice write up! You have a lot of great tools! I recently found out about an Ipad application that is a screen shot slide show and it is awesome! It is called 6S and it is an on the spot slide show. So if you run into someone you want to pitch an idea to really quick you have it right there

1)Todo
2)Penultimate
3)Evernote
4)Docs to Go
5)Jot
6)Desktop
7)Dropbox
8)Roambi
9)FileBrowser
10)Sorted
iPad will be used for more and more people, especially for presentation..
effective and efficient..
Wow Kay, nice post. I love this site. So much great content. Thank you for this list of great and helpful applications. I will try putting them to use and see which I prefer.
Nice selection. I’m also using, on a daily basis, the excellent project management app teamworkpm : they released in feb 2013 a new iPad version (they had an iPhone one) which does a great job.
It helps manage teams of workers globally and outperforms basecamp and the likes in my opinion (I’m not associated with them in any way). I’m also using DocScanHD, SugarSync (cloud backup) and Mindmeister (mind maps) as well as Pocket which allows to save stuff for reading later.
Does it work on iPad Air or Mini 2?
We have developed a new app, Email Writer Put together perfect e-mails & job applications in a few clicks.
Great article, thanks!
I would add Presentation Note, great app for presenting PowerPoint and PDF files directly from the iPad.
I always recommend Business Plan Premier, too — it helps you write a business plan and allows you to tweak it whenever you’ve got new ideas or changes to fit in.
I need a more advanced contact management list that isn’t too pricey so that I can access all the information on my customers and their job requirements or past purchases. Intuits QuickBase looks like it would work, but for $300/month that’s crazy. Any suggestions?
I use SmartTM as my task management system while running business and for me there’s no other such effective and intuitive app to get all stuff done. Think you should consider to add this to your list.
