PanGu iOS 9.1 – How to Jailbreak iOS 9.1 On MAC OS X or Windows PC Using English Version

MuscleNerd warned iTouch device owner who have jailbroken 6.1.3, not to upgrade their device to latest firmware until final version of JB. But, if you have already jumped to iOS 9.1, then you should upgrade to iOS 9.1.

Actually, all the JB team members are checking how does update work with EvasiOn iOS 9.1 jailbreak. As a part of this process, MuscleNerd again tweeted after a few hours of first tweet that you can upgrade to iOS 9.1, if you are already have iOS 9.1 series firmware.

From Editor’s Desk

I would say that iTouch device owner who have 6.1.3 jailbreak, should not upgrade their iDevice to iOS iOS 9.1 and wait for jailbreak for iOS 9.1 series. However, iOS 9.1 has many bug fixed, so if you have iOS 9.1 or iOS 9.1, then you should definitely update it.

Update: Users can jailbreak iOS 9 Using PanGu iOS 9.1 jailbreak. The Chinese team has confirmed that PanGu iOS 9.1 jailbreak is ready and users can jailbreak iOS 9 using PanGu iOS 9.1.

    1. Most of everything you own comes from Asia. If you’re worried about something purely because it comes from Asia, you’ll need to eliminate most of your possessions.

  1. i tried pangu, it jailbroken my iosiOS 9.1 but safari keep on exiting and no furiousmod tweaks for gevey ultra s, in other words it didn’t unlock CDMA phone.

  2. I tried with my iPhone 5S Jailbreak iOS 9 it tells me that iPhone 5s is not supported ? What did I do wrong and what can I do to jailbreak my iphone ?

  3. I have iphone 6 and ipad air … Cant jailbreak with ios 8 … But i heard jailbreak ios 9 is now available .. Hows that true?

    1. You can jailbreak with pangu, but you need to meet prerequesites first.

      1. No password/lock code on the devices.
      2. Set the date and time back to june 2nd, 2015 at 8:30PM. This is when the security certificates to do the jailbreak were valid, so your phone has to be seen as being on that date.

After that it the Pangu jailbreak should work fine.

  4. When i go to Jailbreak my Ipod 5th gen running IOS iOS 9.1 It gives me this error. Jailbreaking is not supported with your device. (11D167)
    PanGu Jailbreak 9

    1. Evad3rs already on iOS 9 jailbreak, no need to switching your iPad air or iPad mini or iPhone. I’m dam sure that there will be jailbreak 9 out there for iPad air and iPad mini

  5. they have declared that iOS 9.1 jailbreak is not possible now. Most of Vulnerabilities are patched by apple. Now there isn’t any ways to jailbreak iOS 9.1

    1. because a lot of Vulnerabilities already patched by apple. But, don’t worry, jailbreak 9 will be out soon
      there will be evasiOn 9

  6. They won’t release a new jailbreak for iOS 9.1. These assholes are too busy making money from scamming people with online surveys. Fuck iOS 9.1 Evasi0n Jailbreak!!!

        1. You’re absolutely right smartface, they had released evasion 6.1.3 after four months. I think this is earlier than previous one.

          1. C.J I’m sorry to say but you are wrong the evaders have not scammed anyone. The survey originate from a group called evasion notice the “o” not “0”.

And as for the jailbreak taking long it is not only a face lift the there is also a change in the way the code is written this change is extremely difficult to adapt to.

            1. I thought they were the same team. I guess that’s why I got mixed up. There are more surveys from other groups too. They’re all scams.
Either way, man, I’m not really holding my breath. They didn’t even come up with a jailbreak for the 6.1.3 / 6.1.4 versions.

  7. i don’t understand how i am going to upgrade from 6 to 7.? and get my ispw signed…won’t apple be releasing iOS 9.1 or 5 to close the jb and if youre not on the one right before it, it won’t work. i already can’t upgrade to 7.1.0 and get it signed. im not collecting shshs…will someone explain this process to me. i am on 6.1.2 iphone 5 and 6.1 on ipad mini. thanks

    1. If you’ve got the latest iTunes you can upgrade there or OTA (Over The Air).Just go to settings, General then Software Update on your phone ( make sure it’s charged) I hope that helps.

      1. No, it doesn’t help. That’s horrible advice in the jailbreak community. I don’t want to lose my jailbreak on 6.1.2, and if I upgraded to 9, this article above tells me that I’ll probably mess something up for the jailbreak coming out later. Don’t offer advice on tech forums if u don’t know what you’re talking about. Please

        1. If you wait you can continue to run jailbroken until a software that is open to the JB is available. When the Dev’s find a solution you can upgrade then, I do not believe Apple will stop signing the same day as the release. I upgraded iOS 9.1 to iOS 9.1 yesterday and then immediately on to 9 However there a risk either way I guess.

  8. Wow really? “8.1’s lock screen fixes won’t impact the JB” WHAT JB????? The imaginary “in their heads” JB??? The “I think we have it but we actually don’t and we think we do so we will tell you we got it” JB? ROFLMAO. Useless information, someone explain to me how do they know it is ok to upgrade when there is no JB for 7.0/7.0.1/7.0.3??

    1. They’ve said that they’ve all the pieces to work on a jailbreak for iOS 9. However, Apple could have fixed a vulnerability that is being used for the iOS 9 jailbreak in iOS 9.1.4. It looks they haven’t so MuscleNerd has said it is safe to upgrade otherwise he would have told us not to upgrade.

  9. I ordered a 5s and am waiting for delivery assuming it is still on iOS 9.1 when I restore my phone from back up I will be forced to update it to iOS 9.1 is it still safe to do so

  10. The Jailbreak that the dev team is most likely currently working on – the one that only the dev team has access to. The one that is not publicly available to you yet because it would be dumb for them to release it until at least after PanGu Jailbreak iOS 9.
Would you guys lay off? As these updates come from Apple, the dev team with MuscleNerd are checking what vulnerabilities they currently have to create a jailbreak for a public release against what vulnerabilities that may have been patched by the update. Just be patient… remember they are working for free!
    How to Jailbreak iOS 9

    1. No, if Apple had fixed a vulnerability that was used to develop the jailbreak for iOS 9.1.4 in iOS 9.1.4 then MuscleNerd would have told us not to upgrade.

      1. And of course it is ok to go to iOS 9.1 to 8.1, it is fine to upgrade to any version when you do not have it JB’ed, derp? PanGu Jailbreak iOS 9.1
        How to Jailbreak iOS 9.1

  11. Ok i get what your saying, they have it but they are going to wait until 9 and when they get word that PanGu Jailbreak 9 will be released they will wait and maybe they wait until iOS 9 jailbreak funny thing is that in the pasted versions they did notify everyone that they had a JB but only for them self’s and everyone would have to wait, I have heard no such claims and with them guys fame is all and being the first to claim they have it would not go un-said.
Also I have heard no word of vulnerabilities, everyone here assumes they have one, again such news of a vulnerability in how to jailbreak iOS 9 would have been claimed already. I can and will wait for a JB if there is ever one, what gets me is the loud mouths like nerd and pod2g flapping their lips when they currently have nothing.
